As many of you know have been going thru a terrible serie of personal events that have sucked my soul.So much I couldnt even turn on 'puter.I thank you for your prayers and thoughts and calls.Good thing cats have 9 lives, I think I just burned thru 3 of 'em! Just a quickie to tell ya'll I luv ya and will in detail tell ya what I have been thru while I have been away from ya'll,but I am crying just as I write this.My only sisters daughter died 10 days into her 17th year in Tennessee in a horrific auto accident.Drivig too fast, no seat belt, text messaging on a dark country road.She would email me every morning to say 'HI', and until now could I pull myself up by the boots and get on line.I will post her pics and I beg you if you are telling our kids 'Wear your seatbelts,slow down and no cell phone!', while YOU are doing those same insane acts you arent doing your job to protect them.They do what you do, not what you say.And oh yeah, I met Al Franken,no I didnt kick his ass! Got a pic,made him laugh and will tell more.So, thats whats been up, its been realy sadd in my big heart.There is a HUGE hole (like Ted Kennedy head size) in my heart that Natalie took wth her.I am trying day by day to be your lovable snarky kitten, bt the darkness has kept me down,the tears I have cried would flood any major city and Natalie would want me to go on.She was/is part of our groups and loved my posts and Hannity spots. A letter from a KATRINA RELIEF VOLUNTEER that will blow your mindz!!

Absolutely digusting behavior. An M.D. reports. Absolutely digusting behavior. An M.D. reports. � ( just wondering. Is anyone shocked at this behavior? ) � I thought I might inform the few friends I have on my recent traumatic experience. I am going to tell it straight, blunt, raw, and I don't give a damn. Long read, I know but please do read!!! � I went to volunteer on Saturday at the George R. Brown (Houston) convention for two reasons. � A: I wanted to help people to get a warm fuzzy. � B: Curiosity. � I've been watching the news lately and have seen scenes that have made me want to vomit. And no, it wasn't dead bodies, the city under water, or the sludge everywhere. It was PEOPLE'S BEHAVIOR. The people on T.V. (99% being� Black) where DEMANDING help. They were not asking nicely but demanding as if society owed these people something. Well the honest truth is WE DON'T. Help should be asked for in a kind manner and then appreciated. This is not what the press (FOX in particular) was showing, what I was seeing was a group of people who are yelling, demanding, looting, killing, raping, and SHOOTING back at the demanded help!!!!! So I'm thinking this can't possibly be true can it???? So I decide to submit to the DEMAND for help out of SHOCK. I couldn't believe this to be true of the majority of the people who are the weakest of society. So I went to volunteer and help folks out and see the truth. So I will tell the following story and you decide: � I arrived at the astrodome only to find out that there are too many volunteers and that volunteers where needed at the George R. Brown Convention Center. As I was walking up to the Convention Center I noticed a line of cars that wrapped around blocks filled with donations. These where ordinary Houstonians coming with truckloads and trunks full of water, diapers, clothes, blankets, food, all types of good stuff. And lots of it was NEW. I felt that warm fuzzy while helping unload these vehicles of these wonderful human beings. I then went inside the building and noticed approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of clothes, shoes, jackets, toys and all types of goodies all organized and ready for the people in need. I signed up, received a name badge and was on my merry way excited to be useful. � I toured the place to get familiar with my surrounding; the entire place is probably around 2 million sq. ft. I noticed rows as far as the eye can see of mattresses, not cots, BLOW UP MATTRESSES!!! All of which had nice pillows and plenty of blankets. 2 to 3 bottles of water lay on every bed. These full size to queen size beds, by the way, where comfortable, I laid on one to see for myself. I went to look at the medical area. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing!!! A makeshift hospital created in 24 hours!!! It was unbelievable, they even had a pharmacy. I also noticed that they created showers, which would also have hot water. I went upstairs to the third floor to find a HUGE cafeteria created in under 24 hours! Rows of tables, chairs and food everywhere - enough to feed an army! I'm not talking about crap food either. They had Jason's deli food, apples, oranges, coke, diet coke, lemonade, orange juice, cookies, all types of chips and sandwiches. All the beverages by the way were put on ice and chilled!!!! In a matter of about 24 hours or less an entire mini-city was erected by volunteers for the poor evacuees. This was not your rundown crap shelter, it was BUM HEAVEN. � So that was the layout: great food, comfy beds, clean showers, free medical help. By the way there was a library, and a theatre room I forgot to mention. Great stuff right???? � Well here is what happened on my journey - � I started by handing out COLD water bottles to evacuees as they got off the bus. Many would take them and only 20% or less said thank you. Lots of them would shake their heads and ask for sodas! So this went on for about 20-30 minutes until I was sick of being an unappreciated servant. I figured certainly these folks would appreciate some food!!! So I went upstairs to serve these beloved evacuees some GOOD food that I wish I could have at the moment! � The following statements are graphic, truthful, and discuss UNRATIONAL behavior*** � Evacuees came slowly to receive this mountain of food that is worth serving to a king! I tell them that �we have 2 types of great deli sandwiches to choose from - ham and turkey. Many look at the food in disgust and DEMAND burgers, pizza, and even McDonalds!!!! Jason's deli is better than McDonalds!!!! Only 1 out of ten people who took something would say "thank you" the rest took items as if it was their God give right to be served without a shred of appreciation!!! They would ask for Beer and liquor. They complained that we didn't have good enough food. They refused food and laughed at us. They treated us volunteers as if we where SLAVES. No, not all of them of course, but 70% did!!!!!! 20% where appreciative, 10% took the food without any comment and the other 70% had some disgusting comment to say. Some had the nerve to laugh at us. And when I snapped back at them for being mean, they would curse at me!!! Needless to say I was in utter shock. They would eat their food and leave their mess on the table. Some would pick up their stuff but most would leave it for the volunteers to pick up. I left that real quick to go down and help set up some more beds. I saw many young ladies carrying mattresses and I helped for a while. Then I realized that.there where hundreds of able bodied young men who could help!! I asked a group of young evacuees in their teens and early twenties to help. I got cursed at for asking them to help!!! One said "We just lost our f --- g homes and you want us to work!!" The next said "Ya Cracker, you got a home, we don't" I looked at them in disbelief. Here are women walking by carrying THEIR BEDS and they can't lift a finger and help themselves!! � WHY SHOULD I HELP PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO HELP THEMESELVES!!!! � I waved them off and turned away and was laughed at and more "white boy jokes" where made at me. I felt no need to waste my breath on a bunch of pitiful losers. I went to a nearby restroom where I noticed a man shaving. I used the restroom, washed my hands and saw this man throw his razor towards the trash can...he missed. He walked out leaving his disgusting razor on the floor for some other "cracker" to pick up. Even the little kids where demanding. I saw only ONE white family and only TWO Hispanic families. The rest where blacks. 20% to 30% decent blacks. and 70% LOSERS!!!!! � These people were not ignorant..they where ARROGANT A -- HOLES. The majority of which are thugs and lifetime lazy a --� welfare recipients. We are inviting the lowest of the low to Houston. And like idiots we are serving the people who will soon steal our cars, rape, murder, and destroy our city while stealing from our pockets on a daily basis through the welfare checks they take. We will fund our own destruction. � By "US" I don't mean a specific race, I mean the people who work hard, work smart, have values and morals. Only people who want to help themselves should be helped, the others should be allowed to destroy themselves. I do not want to work hard, give the government close to half the money I earn so they can in turn give it to a bunch of losers. � I don't believe in being poor for life. My family immigrated here. "He pleaded guilty straight up," chief deputy prosecutor Lansing Haynes said at the time of Wright's plea hearing. The crime was punishable by a maximum term of life in prison and mandatory registration as a sex offender upon any parole. It is believed prosecutors were going to ask for a prison sentence in the case. Last September, Wright was arrested at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane on a $100,000 warrant. Police said at the time his family had taken him to the hospital after he admitted to them what he had done. Police said Wright told his wife "he was a monster" after telling her he had attempted intercourse with the child. Coeur d'Alene police detectives were called to Kootenai Medical Center on Sept. 12, 2004, to investigate an alleged rape of the toddler. The girl's mother said she thought the assault happened one afternoon when Wright was left alone with the child. "The victim sustained injuries to her vaginal area that required immediate surgery," police spokeswoman Sgt. Christie Wood said after the arrest was announced. Wood said the mother saw blood in her daughter's diaper and became concerned. The woman told police Wright said their daughter probably just had a bladder infection and suggested she be given cranberry juice. "Benjamin told her the baby was fine and not to worry about it," officer Ame Massie said in the crime report. Wright then disappeared from the home, and the woman said she could not find him. She then took the girl to the hospital. Police believed it was then Wright was taken to the Spokane hospital. While there were private reports about which ward he was committed to upon his arrival, there was no official confirmation about what treatment he received. The woman said she and Wright were married for two years, and the girl is their only child in common. Many of you know my home here in North Idaho was rocked on my birthday (May 15,2005) by the discovery of 2 adults and the moms 13 year old son bound,blungunged and brutaly MURDERED,here in Coeur D' Alene ,Idaho (CORE-DUH-LANE) something that is so bizarre in our sleepy lttle resort town.Not only was this family killed in such a nasty way, but to compound the grief, the 2 young kids living their w/ mom, her fiance and big brother Slade were 9 year old Dylan and his sister 8 yr. old Shasta,and they were missing.NOT A CLUE, none of their blood was at scene, so we all held out hope,prayers and held faith these kids were part of a screwy drug deal (parents were into meth) or a vengence plot, due to the violent crime scene.Cops,FBI,Sheriffs,any law agency attacted landfills,tips,family,friends ANYTHING to give a NUGGET of a clue as to 1) WHY and HOW could this happen? 2)WHERE ARE THE KIDS!!?? Fliers,Bilboards,signs in windows and cars and buttos worn by many of us to keep kids faces out there. I felt sick knowing that 1) Thers a killing/kidnapping freak on the loose on our streets (NOT ME!!) 2) Where the F are these KIDS??? I couldnt believe over 7 weeks and NOTHING! Our area was grieving,confused and angry at lack of evidence and answers.WELL, that was UNTIL Friday night 1:45 am yup quarter to 2 in the morning, a 42 year old sinny scraggly man and a small girl entered the local Dennys, just 10 MILES, thats 10 MILES from the home she was kidnapped from and where she lived and her faimly died! This man is a 25 year child molester.A VERY VIOLENT,SICK,TWISTED child moleted.NOT ALLEDGED, BUT CONVICTED!.First as a young teen when he stole guns and raped a neighbor boy,he did about 20 years for that one.He also is guilty of tying up 6 bys and performing sick sex acts on them.He also found a 7 yr. old and 9 yr. old,approuched them w/ a video camera and pulled ones pants down and molested him on video.These are just a few of this onsters KNOWN CRIMES! He ran a website preaching how 'SEX CRIMES SHOULDNT BE PUNISHED!' The soldiers' descriptions of Saddam's life in prison match the recent photos of him that apparently were smuggled out of prison - showing the former dictator in his underwear and a long robe. MILITARY Mentors fill in gaps 4 KIDS whose DADSR @ WAR on FATHERS DAY!

Mentors Fill Gaps For Kids Whose Dads Are At War POSTED: 3:33 pm PDT June 18, 2005 CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- You rarely see Marines embrace. Yet Lynne Gilstrap, principal at the Mary Fay Pendleton School at this Marine base, has seen it happen when troops return from Iraq and Afghanistan. They have every reason to let their emotions flow after missions that were protracted and sometimes scary. But there's more to it than that -- they're greeting surrogate dads who stepped in to guide their kids while they were gone."I've seen grown men actually ... giving each other a bear hug," the principal says. On this Father's Day, it should be noted that about 60 percent of military personnel -- about 838,000 -- are fathers, according to the Pentagon. More than 123,000 of these fathers are deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. The lives of their children, says Nancy Campbell, who works in Army family services, "are turned upside down." Untold numbers of men and women -- relatives, neighbors, other servicemen and women -- have marched to the aid of these children as temporary mentors. They play softball and board games, help with homework, and try to ease childhood's troubles with a sympathetic ear until the return of the deployed dads -- or, sometimes, moms. Some join programs like the one run by Big Brothers Big Sisters inside three public schools at Camp Pendleton. Other mentors step forward informally to help brighten a dark time for a child. "I got to have some time with somebody," said Gage Black, a shivering 11-year-old wrapped in a towel after frolicking with other kids and their mentors at an end-of-school pool party at Camp Pendleton. "I'm not so lonely." His father, who was away in Iraq, has now returned -- but expects to ship out again soon. Gage's mentor, Lt. Col. Sam Pelham, knows more than a little about comforting children: he is a father of three and, as a reservist, has worked in civilian life as an elementary school teacher. As mentor, Pelham would often ask the boy how his family was doing. "If he was tightlipped, I'd let him be tightlipped," said Pelham. "It was his hour, and I didn't direct any of it. I was his running mate, basketball teammate, whatever he wanted." Mentors have visited Mary Fay Pendleton School once a week. Principal Gilstrap says she has seen striking changes in the children: "They were so excited ... to tell the `bigs� what they had done during the week, that their whole attitude toward school and school work seemed to change." Samuel Ryan did his mentoring this week on a Camp Pendleton basketball court. Jackson Robinson, 12, grabbed a basketball from the hefty Marine, who looked like Shaquille O'Neal opposite the gangly boy. Jackson's mother is in Iraq. When Ryan looks at Jackson, he thinks of his own brother, now battling leukemia in Walton, Ky. "When I was being in the Marine Corps, I missed most of my little brother's important times -- 16th birthday, 18th birthday," Ryan said. "So this is a chance for me to kind of make up for that and be there for somebody." In Martinsburg, W. Va., Marty Kilmer was there for Christa Carr in her moment of automotive need. More than anything else, Christa needed a hand tuning up her car for the soapbox derby while her father was deployed with the Air National Guard. Kilmer, a retired guardsman in nearby Inwood who has flown with her father, helped the girl adjust the car's wheels, tighten the cables, and get ready to race. "My mom probably wouldn't have been able to do it," says the 11-year-old girl. Then came race day. Kilmer was there, watching from the sidelines like a proud dad. Of course, he wasn't her father, but he found the right words anyway. "I knew she wished her dad was there. I told her he was there in heart," says Kilmer. In Wichita, Kan., Amanda Jallo, 10, had worked hard on her reading with her mentor, 16-year-old Monica Khurana, even before her father left. In April, he was finally sent to Qatar for a tour to last through the summer. "The day he left, I just broke down crying," his daughter remembered. But her mentor was there. "She said, `He�ll be back soon."� The mentors don't just give. They get too. "Amanda, she's just so kindhearted and genuine, every time I visit her she just lifts my spirits," says her mentor. Some mentors mean to pay a debt of sorts to the deployed fathers. "I just wanted to do something for the military, and I can't serve anymore, so I did this," said Rich Alan, 67, of Vista, Calif., a former seaman who has mentored two boys. Gilstrap, the principal, said many Marine mentors are themselves veterans of the war in Iraq. They often feel as though they are returning a favor to the Marine replacing them by giving their time to yet another Marine's child. Often tutoring in their uniforms on break from other duties, these mentors sometimes find it easier to connect with the child. "They can identify with the child's life and military life," said Beverly Perna, a staffer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County. But Pelham, the reservist, thinks just about anyone can mentor these children. "I think anybody who's willing to volunteer their time for a kid has got the right perspective," he said. NIGHTMARE IN PARADISE: The Disappearance of Natalee Hollowell

Many of you like me are sickened by this story. A pack of happy grads and their 'chaparones' fly to paradise from lil' ole Alabama for some fun in the sun for graduating.I am not in favor of young people going out of our country unsupervised.Ok so 3 kids for every chaparone....hmmmm. Natalee was in a bar about 1 am and who was on that watch? No one. Sleeping like babies (or passed out) while the kidz run the island.Stories are they are intelligent careful kids.Unfortunatly predators are smarter or lets say SICKER and SLICKER. I bet the farm a HUGE percentage of those kids were able to get the parents confidence to go to Aruba with the line " But CHAPARONES will be watching us 24/7 !!! (insert whining) ". Poor Natalee still hasnt been found.Being a small island the size of DC should be easy, right! WRONG! The first thing they did wrong was let the first 3 'suspects' go. They admitted to taking her to a beach lighthouse.(stomach twisting) One of these fine island locals is a JUDGES SON! Who as of yesterday was sent off the island to get away.hmmm (Special priveldge?yup!) The three guys were upper level residents.Not as the 2 arrested,living in the poor area, parents poor worker bees. I freaked when the first 3 were released.They had lots of info to help find Natalee.Yet,with their power and money, they were set free.Call me Miss Conspiracy Theory but heres my take. Being the first 3 put themselves at scene of 'crime' they knew there was SOME sort of evidence that would ID hem at some point, so they fessed to BEING THERE at lighthouse with Natalee. After they were done doing whatever,they turn to he 2 loser stooges to either clean up or finish up.They could have even dropped her off to them at the Hotel they knew so well. One of the guards was identified as someone who tried to give drugs to another American tourist. Being from South Florida I have done a lot of island hopping down there,know many islanders and kidz, more likely than not the ones in power are CORRUPT.They get the perks, their kids get the perks and priveledges also. Some mrdres rapes and more crime is covered up to protect these golden chidren.That brings me back to The Judges son, one of the first 3 suspects. Its highly possible Daddy called in a marker to clean the blood off his kids hands (literaly and figuratively) . And it gives this tourism dollar fueled area a black eye! The pace is 'dial up" to say the least.Poor Natalee is probably at the bottom of a body of water along the island.All while her parents and hundreds search every inch of land.And all one of these bastards could do is admit the crime and return this girl, or her (gulp) body to her heart torn parents/relatves/friends. The end wont be pretty in this, too much time passed, too much drama w/ suspects,too much power.My heart bleeds for all involved.And I pray the parents can forgive themselves for letting their precious baby girl, party on so far away and out of America.They just wanted to make her happy,in a full and happy and priveledged life which she had in Bama. Lets hope they take back in the first 3 suspects.The cops lean on 'the weak one' and get the info everyone is desperately waiting for. On a personal note, my siter and I argued a week before Natalees disappearance.My sister was in process of allowing her 16 year old daughter, my beloved niece NATALIE,to go to the Bahamas with some goofy chaparones.Me being, well ME, told her how unsafe and crazy it was to send tis beautiful,curvy hottie off to who knows what! She called me paranoid and stuck her head back in sand.She called me back days after Natalee Hollowell vanished, she was cryng hystericaly and thanking me for giving her my worldy point of view, no matter how Paranoid it seemed.Shivers ran down my spine! I just dont want to be the aunt on FOX begging for my nieces release like the Hollowells aunt. If you love your kids you have to put the hammer down in this insane day and age.Them having fun frollicking in the sun and sand and bozzing till the cows come home can and SHOULD wait till the are older,wiser and with a someone who will keep an eagle eye on them as you would.So If you cant go, them hell, neither do they! Parenting doesnt stop at 18 or 28 for that matter.All the grief you will suffer waiting for resue to find the body dont even measure up to the 'awesome experience' you kid will have with their friends,when things go sideways. Another sick sad story of a missing or murdered woman/female.I hope for the best, but my gut has a mind of its own.Dont let the travel agents pics give you a false sense of security,EVIL lurks EVERYWHERE!And if EVIL has a JUDGE for a Daddy,look out.
